News in Nuba

Here we continuously add news and new features.

Most of these are requested by our customers. If there’s a feature you’re missing or something that could work better, don’t hesitate to contact us. We’re truly grateful for your ideas on improvements.

Set local time zone

We’ve now solved a problem for those of you who administer Nuba from abroad and are not in the same time zone as Sweden. This means you can now work with work periods and scheduling without having to adjust times according to the time difference.

You set your time zone by clicking on “Settings” in the lower right corner and then “Local time zone”

The time bank is getting even better.

We have now launched a number of requested improvements to the time bank, including how absence is handled. The time bank is calculated every night when the previous day is over.
Work periods of the absence type are not included when the time bank is calculated. If the latest reported work period is of the absence type, the time bank is paused until a check-in occurs at a location that is not of the absence type.

This means that if a user checks in to, for example, “Sick” or “Vacation”, the time bank is paused and shows the value that the user had before the absence began.

Not just the Right Place, Now also the Right Time!

Now you have even better control that everyone is in place on time. As an administrator, you can now receive push notifications on your mobile when someone scheduled for a location hasn’t checked in on time. To test how it works, simply update the app to the latest version and start scheduling your staff. If you want to turn off/on this feature, you can do so in the app under “Settings” ->”push notifications”.

Improved Integration with External System

It has now become really easy to transfer reported times to an external payroll or business system.

We have put a lot of effort into creating a really good and simple solution. Try it out, and if you have any questions or feedback, please let us know!

To start, select your external system by clicking on “Settings” and then “Integrations”. If your system is missing, you can choose PAXML. Just make sure the system supports PAXML, which is the industry standard.

You can now easily export data to your system by clicking on it in the first menu (blue).

New feature: Automatic check-out time for absences.

You can now set an automatic check-out time for the location type “absence”.
This is useful for getting accurate data for sick or comp time.

For example, if a user goes home at 14:00 and checks in at “comp time” and you have set the automatic check-out time to 17:00 when the working day ends, the work work period will be 3 hours.

Set automatic check-out time by going into “Settings” and then “Company”.

New features in work period

Now we have added 2 requested features to facilitate the administration of work period:

  • Copy work shifts. Now you can easily add shifts similar to an existing one by selecting a shift and then clicking “Copy”. Before clicking “Save”, you can easily make changes to the pre-filled form.
  • End a work session in progress. Click on “Check out” to end a work session in progress. The function suggests the current time as the check-out time or you can easily change it to any time. The button only appears for shifts that are not completed.
